moko moko in red

we’ve been long-time admirers of Olgajazzy‘s fiber artistry.  she has a truly unique point of view and always does things that delight and surprise.  so imagine how excited we were, when she whipped up the moko moko cowl in our clever camel.

we were so intrigued with the construction of the cowl that we decided to stitch up one for ourselves in poppy red — which we think really emphasizes how dramatic the piece is.

moko moko  is an ingenious design that is so much easier to knit than one would think.  if you can knit in stockinette stitch, you can knit moko moko.  plus, there’s virtually no finishing involved.  once it comes off your needles, you can wear it.  now, how’s that for instantaneous gratification?

** olgajazzy’s moko moko pattern is available for purchase on ravelry here. **

and if you’re still with us . . . we took a few photos of moko moko as we knit it . . . see it grow!
