kizi, daughter of elif

kizi means ‘daughter of’ in Turkish, and we knit these cashmere hand-warmers with yarn leftover from our elif shawl. in that sense, kizi is the daughter of elif!

kizi utilizes the same wavy lace design as in elif, creating a really fantastic curved edge to the base of the hand-warmers.

we designed kizi as a tube with a hole for the thumb, allowing kizi to be worn slipped over a thin glove when jack frost starts to nibble, like so:

and last but not least . . . the kizi & elif patterns are free with the purchase 5 skeins of Qualità Cashmere.  just write “Kizi & Elif” in the comments box and we’ll send you a hardcopy of the pattern.  there’s no need to add the pattern into your cart to receive the offer.
