somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
or which i cannot touch because they are too near

THE LO DOWN
eyelets lend a certain daintiness to knit surfaces. compared to lace, eyelets tend to be more solid and less open — although there’s arguably little distinction between the two. like lace, eyelet fabric typically needs to be blocked to a larger size so that the openings will pop!
we think that eyelets are the perfect transitional stitch from winter to spring! it’s almost like cracking open one’s windows for the first time since winter!
