some of the funniest things happen to us when we’re trying to work out details behind the scenes . . .

this past weekend, we finally got around to adding some arms to “miss thing” (aka. the dress form that we use to display some of our knit creations).  you know the expression two left feet . . . well . . .  hilariously enough, when we attempted to install the arms, we realised that the dress form maker had sent us two right arms!!!

can you tell that one elbow faces forward and the other backwards in the photo below?

so, if you’re wondering why we’ve taken to photographing Keira, our latest knit creation in a “half” presentation where arms are involved, there’s a reason why!  we promise to show miss thing in her entirety once her left arm comes back from the shop.
